Creeping Armageddon and inflation are slowly driving more and more people into poverty. People are losing their
jobs or are finding employment at wages below their previous job with no benefits (read Health Insurance).
Food security and energy security are becoming things of the past.
Most people do not believe that famine is a threat to our families and our nation. It is always around the next
corner.
The last famine occured in North Korea a few years ago. According to news sources it started in 1995 and continued
for 3 - 5 years. About a million people may have perished. Most of the victims were the elderly and children.
Recently in Pakistan there was a food stampede in which 14 women and children were killed.
The next famine will probably be in Eithopia. Their last famine occured in 1985.
If the United States has a famine there is little probability that outside intervention will occur. We rescue
other nations, they do not rescue us.
As long as we have a free press we will be able to deal with the future. Before the first real famine we will lose
our free press. If a famine follows the bureaucrats in Washington D.C. will deny that there is a famine just as North
Korea denied that they had a famine in 1995.
The then current administration will look good but many people will die of water bourne diseases and starvation.
Do not depend on the government to supply you and your family with food, water or other essentials.
